[Guesthouse Yu-Yu] is a Japanese-style guesthouse with a private house that is limited to one guest per day.
It is easily accessible from Kyoto Station, and from Kyoto Station, you can easily access major popular sightseeing spots by city bus or subway.
Since only one guesthouse is available per day, please feel free to spend your private time in a relaxed atmosphere.

◆Accommodation Tax (Kyoto City Ordinance)
In accordance with the Kyoto City ordinance, a separate accommodation tax will be collected at the property.
The tax is calculated based on the accommodation fee per person per night.
The applicable tax rate depends on the date of stay .

◆The front desk is located at the entrance and staff may come and go (please be assured that staff will not enter your room without your permission).
◆The guesthouse faces a main street, so you will hear cars passing by. (Although the windows are soundproofed with double sashes, it is difficult to completely soundproof the house, so please be careful if you are sensitive to sound).
◆There is a handrail on the stairs to the second floor where the bedrooms are located, but please note that the slope is steep.
◆It is a 10-minute walk from Kyoto Station (Hachijo Exit), but if you have large luggage, we recommend taking a cab or the subway.
◆Smoking is not permitted in the hotel.
If there is any smell in the room, you will be charged a cleaning fee.
◆Drinking and partying are not allowed.
Please be quiet especially after 10:00 p.m. because the building is located in a quiet residential area.
◆Towel change and bed making are not included in the cleaning fee. Please consult with us in case of long-term stay. Please replenish consumable supplies by yourself when you run out.
◆Bedding and amenities are provided according to the number of guests. Please make sure to confirm that you have the correct dates and number of guests when making your reservation.
No one other than the guest(s) may enter the room. If more than the number of guests are found to be in the room, an additional fee will be charged.

Beddings are provided with Japanese-style floor mattresses, not Western-style mattresses. Unlike Western mattresses, Japanese floor mattresses are placed on Tatami mats, which are thinner than Western mattresses, so please understand the difference before making a reservation.
